The Nutcracker and the Mouse King by E.T.A. Hoffman is brought to life in The Nutcracker Ballet. Peter Tchaikovsky’s music evokes images of swirling snow and fantastic characters. Sword fighting mice and soldiers, angels, and snowflakes give way to a succession of dancers portraying various characters in the “Land of Sweets.” Ladies and gentlemen dancing at a grand party, children opening gifts and watching a puppet show, gently falling snow . . . these scenes and more await you at The Nutcracker Ballet presented by the Red River Dance Theatre Company.

Red River Dance Theatre Company will give their annual presentation of The Nutcracker Ballet at Coughlin-Saunders Performing Arts Center Saturday, November 25 at 7 PM and Sunday, November 26 at 2 PM. Tickets are $18 for adults, $13 for children/students, and $15 for seniors (65+).
